What is the duration of the boat crossing?

The boat crossing to the Pot à l’eau de vie islands last around 20 minutes. Once arrived near the archipelago, the crew will bring you on a boat tour around the islands for about 30 minutes. Duvetnor’s boats are rapid, modern, efficient, and safe. They were approved by Transports Canada upon commissioning and are inspected by Transports Québec every year. Sauvagîles offers a partially enclosed cabin with comfortable seats and is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and communication devices. Our crews have been sailing in the area for twenty-five years, so you can count on their experience!

Do we have access to safe drinking water on the island?

Yes. Drinking water is delivered from Rivière-du-Loup by boat.

Is swimming allowed ?

No. Out of respect for the wildlife, it is forbidden to swim along the Pot du Phare shores. Moreover, there is no beach suitable for swimming.

Are campfires allowed?

No. Campfires or bonfires are not permitted on Pot du Phare Island for security reasons.
